Grab A Coffee
and
Kick Back

Well hi to all who made it this far, good to see you. This is just a page for those of you who care or don't care to find out a little about me, the real person. Let's call this, |
"Full Circle"
Just a little about me, I am 66 married with four sons Aaron, James V, Zachary and Tyler, wifes name Marcia. I live in a very small town in the Thumb of Michigan named Palms. Moved here in 1988 from down in the city. I personally grew up in a northern part of Detroit Michigan, of course when I was a kid it was a very nice rural farm area, funny but I remember major freeways being dirt roads at that time, lol. Guess I am a little older then I thought, hmmm!. As I remember it, when I was about ten there was a huge park named Rouge Park and through this park ran a beautiful river. This was about 6 miles from my house or should I say grandpa's farm. It was a great place to camp and fish. On Friday night a bunch of us kids would pack up some food and fishing rods and head for the park for a great week end of fishing and swimming till all hours of the night. {Really Fond Memories} Needless to say the span of time always takes it's toll on Mother Nature. The industry of man to make things easier and better for himself "ALWAY'S" has the effect of destroying the beauty around him.
Well I've been back there a few times since then and to tell you the truth the scene I was
presented with broke my heart. The land is wasted and a mess and you can't get near the water
for it's pollution. If this is what we are doing to one place that I remember as beautiful what
will be left in time for your and my children or grandchildren to lay thier eyes upon in the
very near future. So sad but true "WE" are destroying thee Earth on a daily basis, So we better
wake up soon or this Now I guess the worst thing in my life was a car accident at age 26, I was working at a place called Koltenbar Engineering {Drafting and Detail Drawing} I was working 6 days a week and 14 hours a day, one night on the way home I fell asleep and hit a steel pole at about 90 miles an hour, details not necessary but thanks to God and great Doctor's, Hmmmm, Well you know the answer to that one. ;)> Then life got better met Marcia got married and things went well, moved to an area full of Inland Lakes, really nice area trees and all great lake, fishing and skiing, then it caught on and started to grow, pretty soon you could'nt hardly get on the lake for the boats and swimmers, well when the walls close in I am outa there. Just happened to be in the fall of the year and it was time for deer season wound up in a small town called Verona at a guy named Dan's place, to make it short lots of beer, no deer and plenty poker. Some how coversation got around to living around there and Dan piped up "I got a place for you down the road." So took a look bought it and went home. Now the good part, told the wife "Hey hun got the deed, she says "Oh, got the deer"? Man she fell over when she realized I bought a farm and we were moving, But here we are 14 years later and you couldn't get either of us outa here now. I guess the good part of all this is that the farmers aren't gonna quit the swamp in my back yard isn't going any where so I think I did my "Full Circle." Kinda like back to where I was as a kid, to cool.
Just 9 miles from the Great Lake Huron, great fishing, and some of the best upland Pheasent,
Pat {Partrich} and deer hunting in the state. Plus the boys love the freedom to hunt,
ride the 4 wheeler, motorcycles or what ever without a hassle from any one.
Well I hope I didn't bore you to much I just thought you might want to know a
little about me. |
