The Flying Citadel

Thee tale
of
"Dragon Master"

As I sit here crouched in my castle gazing through thee clouds I
see my guardian warriors, my ever watchful Dragon Guards peering
down on me to see that I am safe from all evil that may come to harm me.
They never seem to tire of their task, with eyes glaring down nothing can
move about without being seen by them. They have been with me for all
my life bestowed upon me by my father and from his father since the
dawn of time, an all living never dying creature whose faithfulness
is never questioned or denied.

They are sworn for all time to never leave or let harm befall myself
or any of my family as long as time goes on. Now time passes too fast
for me I am growing older and my only son is off to battle trying to
conquer new worlds for his domain. It is now that I wonder if he shall
return back to me and be thee "Dragon Master" in my place when I pass
on to a greater plane in my life.

Sitting here alone my mind tends to wander off to thee days when I was
a young man and chose to do thee same as my son. Having no fear in my
heart I chose to plunder and ravage thee land, not caring what destruction
I left in my path as I conquered all I saw. Now in my twilight years
I can feel what my father felt in his heart as he watched me ride off
into thee sunset with a raging greed in my heart wanting to have all I
saw and touched for my own.

Now as evening draws near it is as I feared off into thee distance I see
them, thee evil ones, Black Dragons, winging their way to my realm they
are thee hateful, destuctive all menacing ones of thee breed, looking to
do no good at any time. Their hearts filled with hate they come to destroy
and kill my faithful companions and once again try to conquer my realm for
their master "Eidos" ruler of thee Black Realm known as Shadow Land
from whence all evil begins.

But as always "Draco" my trusted leader ever steadfast in his duties sees
and warns of approaching danger, as he screams thee warning, flames
bursting from within his body all dragon warriors gather to do battle to thee
death if necessary. As thee battle ensues I see thee ripping and tearing of
flesh and surely begin to fear a loss is at hand, but as always my fears were
in vain my warriors have taken control and have driven off thee Evil Ones
and once again my realm is safe from danger and I may rest in peace and
tend to thee wounds of my guardians and yet make our bond even stronger,
and so my tale will end for now but I shall return with further tales when
and if my son returns to me and takes my place as "Dragon Master" of thee
realm and keep my guardians together as my family has since the begining
of thee bond between Warrior and Dragon.
